OSEM is an annual conference hosted by Emergency Medics in the Thames Valley deanery. It is a platform to present research, listen to speakers, get involved in workshops and discuss what is current in the world of Emergency Medicine.  Originally started by doctors in training in the region, for trainees of the region, it has now grown to become representative of the whole emergency medicine family and is aimed at doctors, nurses, physician associates, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, health care assistants, paramedics and any other allied health professional that can be found in the emergency department. The conference has also expanded its geographical reach and attracts delegates both nationally and internationally.
